Liner needles are designed with a tighter grouping and fine point as apposed to shaders which are open. This allows a greater degree of pigment saturation in a faster working time. They also produce a stronger effect depending on technique and style of use. You can reduce your working time by choosing larger configurations of round liners for lining and layering to increase opacity.

The longer and finer nozzle allows for greater visibilty and accuracy of your workflow with less pooling of pigment on the skin. The internal needle channels allow for increased stability and less vibration and fluctuations. The larger the needle grouping the more pressure will be required in order to deposit pigment into the skin.
